Last nights adventure took me to Happy Hour at Toscanova in Century City. In an attempt to scratch my shopping itch I asked my friend Steven if we could get a drink at one of the restaurants in the Century City Mall so I could go to my favorite store, Madewell. Initially I thought I would be forced to go to Pink Taco, a restaurant that I not only despise because of its vulgar name but its menu choices offer nothing nutritious or delicious.
After checking out our options we walked by Toscanova to find their Happy Hour lasted until closing time (score!!!!!). Happy hour seating was on the outside patio that offered an extremely welcoming ambiance. FYI I am a sucker for good ambiance! The one food dish I ordered was the shrimp skewers with lemon dressing. Unfortunately, the shrimp was over-cooked and needed mucho doctoring with with lemon slices and salt. All in all the wine was good, the conversation was better and the prices were reasonable.
I give Toscanova One Fork Up for its pleasant atmosphere, great service and good prices! If you are looking for a relaxing Happy Hour that isn’t too crowded Toscanova is a must!
